    Drew Barthel, MBA, CPDM

    Sr. Benefits Manager – Leaves of Absence, Disability and Accommodations at Nike

    Drew Barthel (he/him) has over 10 years of experience in IDAM ranging from hands-on case management to managing large programs (40,000+ employees) that span multiple countries. Currently, Drew is a Senior Manager at Nike responsible for leaves of absence, disability, time off and accommodations for the Americas.

     He joined the IEA team in 2021 as a contributor and instructor for CPDM. Drew’s contribution to the CPDM content focused on several of his passions including objective measurements of programs, stakeholder influencing/management, mental health and employee centric interventions. His instructor-led course for CPDM focuses on the application of the course materials through real-life case studies and class discussion that incorporates all CPDM lessons. Outside of his professional life, Drew enjoys remodeling projects and hiking with his family in the Pacific Northwest.
