WCCA Certificate and WCCP Designation
The California Workers Compensation Claims Administration (WCCA) and California Workers Compensation Claims Professional (WCCP) programs of The Institutes are the gold standard professional credentials in the industry. Some 8,000 California workers’ compensation professionals have earned the WCCA certificate, while almost 3,000 have gone on to attain the WCCP designation. These programs meet most of the criteria established by the California Department of Insurance for workers’s compensation claims adjuster pre-certification and continuing education allowing you to earn CE hours.
IEA offers online classes nationwide for WCCA and WCCP courses. Candidates who wish to earn credentials must purchase the recommended study materials from The Institutes and and pass the exams administered by The Institutes. IEA fastest growing workers’ compensation training program, the Claims Practitioner in Workers’ Compensation. The CPWC is a 24-module program designed specifically to meet the 120 hour criteria established by the California DOI. The focus on the practical knowledge and skills needed to perform the roles of an Indemnity Workers’ Compensation Adjuster, a Medical Only Adjuster and a Medical Bill Review Adjuster for the State of California.
