IEA Announces Winner of CPDM Scholarship for Spring 2022
San Diego, CA – February 15th, 2022 – The Insurance Education Association (IEA), a leading provider of professional training programs in workers’ compensation, disability management, human resources, and risk management, has announced the winner of its scholarship opportunity for Disability Management training.
Kianna Burgin, a Leave of Absence Coordinator from Goodyear, Arizona, was awarded a full tuition scholarship for the first program in the three-part CPDM series starting February 24th, 2022. Kianna joins a full class of emerging disability and absence management specialists all of whom are working toward earning the nation’s foremost designation in disability management.
CPDM scholarships are offered three times a year. Eligible candidates are invited to submit an application for consideration each trimester. A suitable applicant is currently ineligible for tuition reimbursement by an employer and has not been a previous recipient. The scholarship covers the full cost of tuition for the first course in the Certified Professional in Disability Management (CPDM) designation curriculum. The CPDM curriculum has been recently rewritten by a team of industry experts in disability management, workers’ compensation, human resources and employment law. Feedback from those who have recently completed the course points to the success of a new state-of-the-art student dashboard, the flexibility of the program for working adults, and live webinars which allow participants to interact with subject matter experts.
