    Leave Management Administrator, Telecare Corporation

    With over 20 years of experience in employee benefits and absence management, Tanya Thompson currently serve as an SME for the Americans with Disabilities Act in a large healthcare organization operating across multiple states. Her background includes roles as a Disability Case Manager and Benefits & Leave of Absence Consultant, including program development. Across all of her roles, Tanya is dedicated to helping the ill and injured workforce overcome barriers to return to work.

    As an online instructor at IEA since 2015, Tanya connects with diverse students, sharing her expertise in disability management and gaining insights from their experiences. Teaching enables her to  build lasting relationship and assist her students with their goals as disability management professionals. 

    Tanya enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren, reading and researching case study/law as it pertains to disability management, and working on home improvement projects. Â
