Getting to Yes

Navigating the Interactive Process with Confidence

The interactive process is a critical component of reasonable accommodation, leave management, and return-to-work efforts. In this practical webinar, disability management expert Azucena Coronel, CPDM, CLMS, will guide participants through the legal and operational foundations of the interactive process, including when it is triggered, how to conduct effective discussions, and how to evaluate accommodation options in good faith.

Participants will gain insight into essential job functions, medical restrictions, accommodation considerations, documentation practices, and ongoing employer obligations. To bring these concepts to life, Azucena will be joined by Sabino Santos, MBA, MLS, HR and Risk Management Consultant, for a live mock Interactive Process Meeting. Together, they will demonstrate how employers and employees can engage in productive, compliant conversations to identify reasonable accommodation solutions, navigate workplace challenges, and support successful outcomes.

Whether you are an HR professional, leave administrator, supervisor, or disability management practitioner, this session will provide practical tools and real-world insights you can apply immediately in your workplace.
